I gotta get back there... & soon!
Three superb compositions.
Well taken.
Composition is good, but on my calibrated monitor, each image looks a little 'over-cooked'.
Still learning/trying to adapt to a digital world. These were commercially scanned from some old, mid '70s, K64 slides taken w/20mm lens & cpl. Modest pp following the canversion. Maybe a dumb question but what does overcooked mean? Just one more. Hoping someone can post a link to a resource about calibrating monitors. Thanks all.

The term 'over-cooked' basically means a bit over-processed. Most noticeable is the change in color of the skies, and the muddy look of the stone. These are actually quite good conversion from slides.
To learn more about proper image processing, post an original image in the UHH section

Thanks, sounds like great advice. I'll dive into the reading & post something later in the day or tomorrow. Thanks again
These are nice. and I don't think they look overcooked.
Beautiful shots, and great composition, Mark!
Love Arches National Park and enjoyed your photos. Bottom one looks like Landscape Arch, though I'm not sure. If so, you can no longer get that perspective (legally, anyway). Several chunks have fallen from it since the 70s, and the trail underneath it is closed. Some say it could collapse completely at any point now.
