So this was taken a few years back but I wanted to get some people's opinions on what you think. This was taken in Portsmouth, NH and I used a Nikon D7000 with a 24-85 f/2.8-4 lens with it zoomed in to 85mm. I shot in manual mode and my settings were ISO 100, 1/1000. f/4. I was doing some end of year cleanup of files and this was in my "Desktop Background" folder so I thought I would put it up there and get your opinions on it. I'd like to see if some of your comments are what my critiques are as well. Thanks!

I feel it would have been better with a little more DOF. If you were shooting at a thousandth, you could have afforded to closed down a stop or two and had the hole flower in focus. I do like all the color, kind of reminds me of Summer, as I look out the window and see nothing but brown.

I like your photo a lot however I don't like that the flower tips don't show other then that, it's beautiful.

Beautiful flower. Does not look to be in focus and while you filled the frame, not quite. Some of the pedals are not in the photo.
