I decided to head to Jacksonville Saturday night to see what i could capture with a tripod and some of the suggestions i've read here on taking night shots and panoramas. My husband works for the Hyatt, so we get a few free rooms at any of their hotels throughout the year; i was able to grab these shots directly from our balcony. As Gene51 and many others have suggested, i used the vertical position of my Sony A6000 and took multiple shots using a long exposure. My question is - am i trying to squeeze too much into the overall pano? I really like the effect on the water, and i kind of hate to part with any of it, but it really does seem to go on and on, weakening the distinction of the bigger points. I'm open to any/all feedback - should i crop it? Thanks for your consideration!

I wouldn't crop it. Beautiful the way it is.

Not at all. I guess it's according to how big your wall is. Beautiful panorama.

VERY nicely done! I love it!
No cropping needed.
Gorgeous. Jacksonville is very pretty by daylight from the Interstate but this night shot is outstanding and well executed.
Leave it as is. Very nice.
My opinion of panos is that they need to be big to be effective. Viewing yours full screen I'd say it's all worth keeping. However, if you're planning a print and you don't want to go too big, it can take a bit of cropping. I'll post my crop to show what I mean. I didn't think it would take losing any of the bridge but I cropped a little off of it and it doesn't look bad.

I really like the image. Since you are looking for comments, my only suggestion would be if the same images were shot just after sunset, e.g about 15 minutes after, the background sky should have had some nice deep blue color. Of course, this assumes that you were at the location of the shot and had the opportunity to shoot at that time.
