PureNight light pollution reduction filter

This is something new, so I doubt anyone here has experience with it, but I'm curious what others think. To me, the sample images appear to be altering the white balance and nothing more.

Not exactly true. If you look at the response graph, it is removing light in a band that includes sodium street lights. Where you have that kind of light pollution, it will be very effective as you can see in the first image.

This kind of filter is also known as a red intensifier and is used for other typed of photograph .

Nice. But quite a price.
Plus it requires the frame (if you are just beginning with the type).

I'll be stickin with my Badder, which I think may be better.
Small... Or Big.
