Aha, tis the Season, eh? I believe good Christmas Tree photos are among the hardest to take. Sometime in the past I think I resorted to a composite, each exposure from the camera mounted on a tripod, using a remote cable release. With one, I used flash, to catch the green-ness of the boughs, and the other was a timed exposure to capture the light glints. I like this one ..... it sets the mood quite well.

Thanks Bob. I tried a photomerge and an HDR photomerge in PS but neither came out very well. I think my camera moved very slightly on the tripod and caused ghosting of the images. Finally just resorted to a single shot.
