Thanks for your support Monty! The top is Surian Red Cedar, a ring in for Australian Red Cedar, now very expensive. Light in weight and a tone wood I really like. The only added color is a very weak walnut wash. This guitar started out with just an under soundboard piezo system for an acoustic tone. I sold it to a mate and we added a end of fingerboard humbucker. It now has an added Gretsch pickup near the bridge, mounted on a new extended pickguard, fully reversible, no hole cut into the top.

If you ever get down this way be sure and let me know. One dollar Australian is worth .75 cents US and expected to drop.
