Pentax Takumar Lenses. 50mm f/1.4

Pentax was a leading manufacturer of quality lenses back in the 50's, 60's and 70's, being a collector I often buy in lots to get a particular lens I want or replace lenses in my collection for one that is a bit better preserved. Because of this from time to time I sell off some of my lenses. With a simple inexpensive adapter I use these lenses on both my Canon 7D and my Canon 6D although I do have to check for compatibility before using on my full frame camera as some of these old lenses can come into contact with the mirror on Canon full frames. These lenses are all metal and glass, they are fully manual lenses meaning that there is no auto focus or auto aperture and metering is done while the lens is stopped down.
These lenses are an excellent choice for mirrorless and 4/3's camera systems with the appropriate converter that can be inexpensively purchased on eBay.
