To be fair, he did hold two jobs:
As a state senator in IL, and as a US senator from IL.
Neither was in the actual economy, and in neither did he do much that could be considered constructive.

That is true, I should have been more clear, I was referring to non government jobs where someone actually expected him to do something that was worth getting paid for.
