This game was for the state championship. Bishop Gorman vs Liberty. These photos were taken at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was a rout but still a great experience for me. Enjoy the pics. and comments are always welcome.

As a fellow sports action guy, I judge sports action shots on two things -- a ball and a face -- which you have in your shots. The exception to that rule is shown in your first shot which works very well. Nice job!

Thanks for your nice comments. The first shot with the little girl I thought was kind of cute. Here is this little person shaking hands with the big bad players.
Some very good action shots Jules. Are you going to tell us who won?

Funny Tom.
I had told the one of the camera guys before the game. I just want a close game. Yeah right....
Jules, your capture of the Fujinon - A55x9.5 is absolutely priceless...
And speaks to the ever increasing challenges facing still photographers...
At Championship Events the proliferation of video rigs is astonishing...
They now outnumber still shooters by a considerable margin... at least in my market...
That said, the still shooter has a HUGE advantage... That being the ability to freeze a decisive moment at up to 1/8000 second (and faster with HS Sync) yielding a window into a world unseen by the human eye... My thoughts are to deploy this powerful attribute to it's fullest advantage...
