Does Piccure + do a great job of getting rid of Lens & motion problems?
I thinking about adding it to LR & PS. I have been trying the 30 day trial for
about 10 days now. Some photos look better but most I don't see any
improvement.
Please give me your option.
Thanks

I have been using P+ for a while now and it works well for me. Sometimes the effect is subtle and sometimes it is large depending on how much motion or lens correction was there originally. I have also downloaded the manual, found in the menu section in the upper right of the P+ screen. I also use the split screen to view the image for comparison and enlarge it to a 1:1 viewing. I know it has helped me a lot. Good luck with using it.

Sounds interesting, but "...most I don't see any improvement" would make me think twice about spending the money. Of course, if it can save an otherwise bad shot, it may be worth the price.

Lots of reviews.

I have best results with sharpening eyes, feathers and fur in wildlife photos. It's well worth Piccure+ long processing time. For some pics, I see little, if any, improvement.

All of these replies is on the old version 2.0, there is a new version 3.2 that I am trying.

Was hoping someone on UHH could help me, about the new version.

I tried it for a while. It's ok to a point but it does not achieve what you could have been done with aotionless camera and correct focus. As far as lens softness goes IMHO even the latest 18-55m "kit" lenses don't really have much of an issue.

In summary, it gets you acceptable results for viewing on a PC monitor but not on a 16x20 print. Big benefit was that using it for a while motivated me to stop making excuses and concentrate more on technique

Works well for me. I use it LR after making lens correction before making other corrections or changes.
I find some photos benefit more than others do. The effect is subtle but effective. The noise reduction works well, too.

Piccure is not and does not claim to be a correction for poor picture-taking techniques or equipment. I consider it a tool to hopefully make a very good photo into a great photo. Thus, take pictures with the best equipment and techniques that you can. Then, use Piccure to make it a little bit better.

There isn't a PP program out there that will make a good picture out of a lousy picture. We use piccure on bird photos that are in focus...to bring out added detail...and for that it works very well.

Not all of the time but some of time...
