I think I am beginning to be able to spot posts shot with the new 5Ds/R works. The detail is crystal clear on d/l. Those look like they could be blown up to wall size and still maintain clarity. Shooters with these new bodies have a leg up it looks like. Great stuff.

Dean, I do portraits with the 5Ds. I can be pretty sloppy with the framing and as long as the focus point is dead on the eye...., the face detail is simply incredible!!!

We may be old and early to bed but being old we have to toddle off to the lav and
tinkle every 3 hours so you're never safe from our watchful eye.

I have shot thousands of photos for about one year with my Canon 5Dsr and I am still amazed how
much detail I receive from this camera. Amazing.

You're right, I'm sure. But for me, doing birds, the buffer on the 5DIV is a huge advantage when needed. At 30MP the IQ on the IV is pretty GD good and I'm not making billboards. I'm getting there, but every three hours! I think somebody needs to go see a urologist. Maybe you could take a picture with your 5DSR and show the doctor the detail.

I made a panorama of the town of Toledo in Spain using 7 shots in vertical format with a 5DSR. The detail when you zoom in is amazing, I swear you can read the car license plates from a quarter of a mile away. Image size is a mere 850 MB! Love the 5DSR. Low light usefulness does not compare to 5Dmk3 or 1DX however.

Looks like a wonderful camera. I've never shot such a high MP camera....does it take special technique/precaution?

Then why did you ask?!
You knew it was a risky question.
The probability of bringing on a full scale Gas embolism was real.
If I weren't at work, I'd post something that would finish you off!!!
What's the biggest file that can be posted on "download" anyway?!?!
