Oh come on, Sharpie! Some of us with 'edged weapons' might quietly survive the engagement! A Cannon doesn't have the rapid focusing or targeting response that you claim the Canon system has! 'Old iron' has an impressive presence, but doesn't always respond as quickly as needed.
Now we're both California guys, and probably don't consider 'grapeshot' to be the same thing as it was a few centuries ago, but it can certainly clear the deck!
On the other hand, it could be a fun game to play! Perhaps I'll just have to 'steel' myself for the journey. I have a Damascus blade somewhere close by. Isn't technology wonderful?
