Great Image. Lone Pine behind you, Mount Whitney in the background. Nice cloud formations too. I really need to do more photography in that area (Alabama Hills).

So many western movies were made in this area. It is a great visit, especially when one travels on west to the base of Mt. Whitney. I beautiful area, stores, lake, fish and an excellent place for a picnic. Thanks for sharing your great photo.

Thank you all for the very complimentary remarks and comments. This image was a seven image stack to get that DOF I wanted. The lighting was perfect the last morning there when I made the captures.

ALABAMA! I think not! where was this taken. It is a very lovely photo and in download the focus is dead sharp all over.

Lovely. Nice to see some snow on the Eastern Sierras. Hope there's a bunch more this year.
