Tool to help explain the exposure triangle.
Found this while I was cruising the internet. I thought it was a pretty neat tool to help explain the exposure triangle and how the different variables (shutter speed, aperture, ISO) affects the photo. Try it and see what you think.

I thought so too. You can play with the different types of lighting you encounter and makes you think about what you have to do with your shutter speed, ISO and aperture to get a good photo. How much blur is acceptable, how much noise or how shallow a depth of field etc.
For a beginner, I think it may be a bit confusing, as it introduces far too many concepts at once. In other words, maybe a little too comprehensive. Sometimes plain old text does it best, leaving it to the student to visualize the ideas in his/her mind, and adjust those visualizations as more information is added. The graphics here may be helpful to students who have the ability to grasp ideas relatively quickly, but most others will be overwhelmed by all the sliders and give up trying to figure out how they relate to one another.
Maybe I'm missing something but the sliding scales don't relate to anything photographic. When setting them in manual mode on the site the aperture scale is from 0-8, the shutter scale from 0-14 and the sensitivity scale from 0-8. To me it would be much more effective if the scales were representing actual F stops, shutter speeds and ISO levels. Or, did I miss something while fiddling with everything on the site?

Click on "INTERACT" and than move each slider...got to do a little experimenting!
