that is it , wont bug you anymore with that .never used a mirror lens , i think the long lenses are more usable .
Very nice, I especially like the wood pecker. What is a consumer lens. I can only think of a few examples that aren't consumer lenses.
Excellent work. I really like the first shot in particular!

Nice shots! What is a consumer lens, does it has better flavor than a normal/average lens?

Well done - never saw a woodpecker twist its head around like THAT!

Nice photos, regardless of the lens used!
Excellent shots, thanks for sharing.
a consumer lens is anything under $ 200 new , in this case a vivitar 600/1200 zoom , same lens sold now under different names .[ used on e bay $ 67 ] new are $200 .just to show that you can have descent result without going broke .those pictures [ last week ] with that T mount zoom lens , set at 600mm , it is a f11 fixed , on a pentax 6.1 mp ist D .i used a plain flash with the better beamer attached , at 1/4 power [Quantary Q383 ].on a tripod .so it is like taking pictures in the 70s , all manual . probably at 20ft .
Gotta admit, you did great with that lens.
They're all nice shots but the woodpecker is over the top fantastic.
Takes talent and patience to get those results. Great job!
Excellent images, agillot! Love the last one!
