Nose hairs freezing, falling on black ice - fun memories, Trish! A very lovely photo, which despite my teasing, is super-appealing. Gentle, quiet, a perfect winter day for a walk.

In spite of winter risks, the lady walking is actually blind, out with her 2 guide dogs, this makes the image more special to me! Cheers Linda!
Beautiful December photo. Has a nice look, near B&W but just a touch of color that make it interesting. Composition with man and his dogs adds much to the picture. Good Job
An exquisite image that can convey a plethora of storylines. Wonderful composition with the road drawing the viewer in and back, the scope of the image with the big tree versus the perspective of those walking, and the depth of the scene that the road carries to and beyond to the hills. Looks like it has many options from post cards to greeting cards and more. Kudos.
From my drive at the end of the day. Taken a few snows ago. Lightroom adjustments and a dabble with PS curves.
Exposure spot-on...nice snow texture bespeaks excellent tone spectral control. Excellent use of hyperfocality. very comfortably composed...gently guides the eye. Good use of cosmically provided depth cues. The subdued color palette perfect for the scene and feeling.
