A business trip took us to Carefree Arizona &, although my wife and her family had lived in Az, she'd never seen the canyon. Having been there more than a few times, I know I'll never get enough, so, while she gazed in awe, I was snapping away. Knowing none of us will ever do justice to nature's majesty, I thought I'd post a few of my attempts.
Envious Mark. I've been fortunate to be sent on a few business trips to areas with some chance of photo worthy scenery. But would so love to make it to the GC one day.
Just do it. Go plan a trip to GC

Got to agree with Stan. We are not getting any younger! JUST DO IT.

One of the most basic things I live by: if you think you should do it, then do it. If you thought you should have done it, then it's probably too late! chase
Oh its in the plans.....my current broken foot would make it a bit lackluster at this point. Hoping for at least a 10 day jaunt out west next year.
She's so lovely. My heart lives there. And you're right. No photos do her justice, although these are very nice. And try the North Rim.

Best times for air quality and crowds are winter months.
South "ROOM"? Looks like views from the South "RIM".
The colors really snap in the first picture. Beautiful!!!
Highly interesting and excellent set of photos Mark. We were there in late September and I was fortunate enough to come back with some memorable images. Glad you were able to make it to GCNP, and thanks for posting these.
