Thank you Gitchigumi. I have always loved tall trees, especially when you can see them clearly.
Very nice Bob. Same process as used for the rose?

Thank you Karin. With most of the leaves off the trees now, the branches become more visible. But, as this is an evergreen, those branches are still full of needles ...... but there's less in the way from seeing them.
Thank you Erv. I have an abiding love for trees, especially I spent 20 years in the Navy and didn't see a whole lot of them out in the middle of the ocean. It's also why forest green is my favorite color

I know of what you speak Bob. Some times I have to go back into my woods and talk to the trees. I is relaxing and they always seem to give me the right way to go. I know it sounds funny, but it works for me.:):)
When a friend comes over and I am back in the woods they ask Janny why. But they come back and find out how peaceful it is.:)

Thanks S-C. I tried to capture this majestic tree favorably.
Digital solarization! What would Man Ray think?
I like the image as it is indeed about a tree. For
me nothing beats a walk in the forest on a
quiet morning. However, the image could be
printed more boldly. The light background seems
to draw my eye away from the tree.

Hey Bob, I love the shot. There are no woods in Northridge, CA. but by this time next year, there will be plenty as my wife and I are selling everything here and moving to Northern Mass. (Metheun) to be exact. I am looking forward to getting some cool winter shots. LOL.
