We Don't Always Choose How We Will Be Remembered...
In the Old West, a customer went to Wells Fargo to pick up his package delivery. When he was handed his damaged package an argument ensued resulting in both men drawing their guns. The agent expended only one round while being shot four times, and both men fell dead. The Agent, Lester Moore, remains one of the most famous of those buried in Boot Hill Cemetary in Tombstone, Az. And no one even knows where Hank Dunstan (the man who shot him) is buried. Thus history, once again, shows us....that less is more.
Cool 'shot' and interesting story. Thanks for posting.
Nice shot and story, tho I suspect Les was less than thrilled wih it...

Appreciate the look and wit, Treepusher. The caretakers explained that 'Boot Hill' was a generic description for many cemeteries that were specifically designated for those who died with their boots on. This one happened to become the marquee in terms of recognition.

Glad you enjoyed it, mm0605. The humor is not lost since this has become arguably the most famous gravesite in the cemetery.

Thank you, Angela. Appreciate your visit and glad you enjoyed it. Like many historical places, this has been renamed several times; now known as the Boot Hill Graveyard.
Nice image. I've always been fascinated with the old West!
Les got around! I have seen this "tombstone" in several western grave yards!!

Also shows how the business always gets glorified and the customer is nothing but scum. That's why the customers burial gave was never marked and he was probably right from the start, being that his package was damaged.
Good and interesting Shot Charmdragon.
Very interesting story and very good "shot", Charmdragon! :)

grillmaster5062, thanks for your visit. Though you can't lose sight of the nature of a tourist attraction, the people involved were extremely knowledgeable regarding the historical element of the graveyard. One visitor was looking for a particular grave based on a historical tale he swore was fact, and they were able to discern the connection to one of two graves. But the basis of their analysis was always historical rather than conjecture or supposition.
