I have a Canonette, is that almost a Canon?

What's an "almost Canon" camera? They certainly have for the 5D mk IV, I just need to get one to use the firmware!
More seriously, it seems to be a minor fix, at least for my camera:
Corrects a phenomenon in which when using the camera with the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM or EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM lens, even if lens aberration correction is set to ""Enable"", correction will not be applied.I don't have those specific lenses, but do use Magic Lantern, which so far only works with the earlier f/w.
Anyhow, thanks for the heads up, it is appreciated!

All most all would be a large number of cameras. The last firmware update for my Canon 7D Mark II is from September to support their new WiFi card. Haven't seen anything mentioned since then. Which cameras are included, and can you provide a link to this info?

I read a rumor about a line of Nikonette cameras coming out soon - fingers crossed!
Hmm. Most of us are well aware that we can do that, but that's not the point. You posted that most Canon cameras have new firmware released. What did you mean by that? Where did you read that and which cameras? Or were you just guessing.
Canon did release a long list of firmware updates in recent weeks. I saw it online at some site yesterday and it did seem to cover most of the current product line, so, the OP is not incorrect. At least 3 of them have been out for a while because I have had those 3 sitting on my desk top for several weeks. Haven't got around to installing them yet. They mostly seem to correct issues that don't affect me.

That's terrific, but it would be more useful if the OP had been a bit more specific or provided a link rather than just make a vague statement. Do you recall where you saw it?

Vague posts are endemic on this site. I'm sure you know this.

It used to be that I couldn't always remember what I had for breakfast. Now, I can't always remember if I even had breakfast! Can't be sure where I saw it. I think I saw it on canonrumors.com, but I just checked and I don't see it. Might have missed it. Probably the easiest thing to do would be to go to canon.com and look up the firmware updates for whatever cameras you have. I didn't see a list on the Canon site either but it only takes a minute to check for a specific camera.

Absolutely. A little more specificity when posting would be nice.
