Earlier this week there was an extremely interesting article on wide-angle macro. I want to use it underwater. I am shooting with an Olympus OM-D E-M1. I am totally unsure as to what lens I should be looking for with this camera. The article referenced a 15mm; Olympus does not make one perhaps an adapter ring would allow me to use another make lens. Any suggestions will be most appreciated.
There is an Undewater Photography Forum on UH which may yield some useful answers to your question. Just in case you have not come across this yet the route is - 'Home' (at the top of this page), then scroll to the bottom of the list of sections to the option 'All Sections' and you will find it there. I understand that the Laowa 15mm in the only wide macro lens for 1:1 but maybe there are other options if you don't need to be 1:1.
Your question got me curious so I googled "Wide Angle Macro Photography" and among others found articles based on this book and then tracked it down to the site of one of the authors. PDF version of the book is $4.99, I bought it and plan to try with my 14 mm ultra wide and my macro extension tubes:

Thanks for the information. I downloaded the pdf, do not know if it will answer all my questions, but it is a start. Now to find a lens that I can use.

I tried that a few years ago and found that even the smallest tube was too long for most things I wanted to shoot. In fact, you will have trouble shooting anything that is appropriate for the True Macro forum. There may be something that is 1:1 in the image but the background quickly falls off to an angle that is not even a close up. I did it with a 16mm Zenitar and 8mm Peleng fisheyes which I adapted to my Canon from their native M42 mount. Only partly screwing down the adapters added a mm or two extension which was enough for most uses. There is a lot of depth of field here if you stop down a bit! I know we can't post images to a thread but I hope the link is OK.

Well I really don't care if the results qualify for this forum, as long as I like them. I'll post to Gallery, Digital Artistry, etc.

I am not sure of the rules, but people do that here and I have yet to see anyone mind. It adds to the fun, imo.
