And you've done it so well. I love the images. Not just Nuremberg, but a number of other European towns/cities have used canals or a river for transportation and have put their best facades facing it.

I like 2 the lit up window as well as the bridge and 3 -the sky's enhancement of the scene.

Very interesting photos Thom. I also enjoyed seeing your images of Dresden. All these remind me of some business trips to Celle, Germany during my working years. I found Germany to be a highly interesting and visitor friendly place.

Thank you all for your comments. Tom - I agree that Germany is a visitor friendly place, with great photo opportunities.

Thank you. I processed the picture in Lightroom and used Tone Curve to accentuate the magenta color.

I spent some time in Germany, but never actually went to Nuremberg. It was sort of a pit stop on the way to Munich from Franfurt. From the highway it always looked grey and sort of forbidding. But your images are nice and inviting. I think I missed something!

All these years after the war and Hitler, Germany is a beautiful country. I was stationed in Stuttgart for 3 years some decades ago and it was beautiful then... still divided at the time but West Germany was just beautiful... I nearly stayed after my enlistment.
