Yes, I mostly use LR. I am very new to PS. I like one of the suggestions that I run through the Nik collection within PS, and don't keep exporting and saving. Then resize/sharpen for what ever intended use, and then resave back to the point just before resizing, keeping all the layers and full PSD file.
Yes, that's the idea.
Since you mostly use LR, you can use this method to keep your files to a minimum:
1 Edit in LR
2 Right click on image and Edit/Vevesa 2/Edit a Copy with Lightroom Adjustments then save
3 You will now have the original plus a copy with -1-Edit.tif amended to it. Now you right click on that one and Edit/chose another NIK plugin/Edit Original
4 After you've done all your NIK adjustments right click one more time and chose Sharpener Pro 3: Output sharpener/Edit a Copy
5 Save when finished for the type of output as they do in the video
Now you will have that file you can export for the size you like as a jpg. You will have 4 files now. The original raw, the one with all your NIK editing (with no sharpening), and the one with Output sharpening in the LR catalog and one last jpg image file that you put somewhere else as a jpg. You can chose to have it exported and added to the catalog or not. I usually don't add those to the catalog. I just put in a folder with all the other jpg's that I've created for uploading to the web or email.
