Very nice. When I was a kid growing up in the South Bronx my mother my sister my Aunt and my 2 cousins use to spend 1 week in Rockaway. It was a boarding house Called John's I believe it was on 101st. Street. I might add we were all in one room. This was the late 40's early 50's. We all thought it was a great time. I remember a canned ham it had a key on the top and you unpeeled the strip of metal to get it out of the can. I did not know how my mother or my aunt, two immigrants could slice meat that thin. I don't remember how many families stayed there in the different rooms during the summer. I do remember good times.
Anyway, nice picture. Thanks for the memory.
Colorful with nice detail, a real wall hanger one to be proud to display.

Like the rays! I posted a photo yesterday with rays of light. Was told that they are referred to as, "Crepuscular rays".

I have not been to Rockaway in at least 60 years. I don't want to ruin good memories. My neighborhood in the South Bronx was a tenement neighborhood. The city moved everyone out in 1960, demolished the buildings and build a slum.
Very nice, I always enjoy crepuscular rays.
