Hello again CanonShot we usually go up to Cumbria, also known as The lake district in the Northwest of England which has beautiful landscapes wherever you look but to be honest The UK is blessed with beautiful views once you your out of the towns and cities..For the birds, any where in the UK.I go to several places i.e Pennington flash a nature reserve near Manchester or Martin mere a wetlands trust area which has thousands of birds throughout the year,it's about 8 or nine miles from Liverpool and also the local parks in our area.My favourite spots are both my two daughters gardens one in Cumbria and the other just up the road from us in Rainford village, just lay a rock or old log on the grass lawn spread a few seeds under the rock or old log then sit down and wait for them to come to you especially in the winter months and hopefully they will pose on the rock or log for you as well.
Jim.
