This would fit nicely in my "mailbox" thread on UHH
I live in the Ozarks. My family homesteaded here in the mid-1800's and my nephew's family is eighth generation on the same farm. Redneck jokes are usually based on my family members! Anybody up for watching my 89-year-old dad plow his garden with his team of mules? A trip to my brother's lawnmower tractor pull? Deer hunting from an old soda machine converted into a tree stand?

With apologies to Rod Stewart :)
Wake up Maggie, I think I've got something to say to you
It's late September and I really should be back at school
I know I keep you amused
But I fell I'm being used
Oh Maggie, I couldn't have tried any more
You led me away from home
Just to save you from being alone
You stole my heart and that's what really hurts
I must remember to post pictures of this years annual Redneck Games..... includes mattress surfing, toilet seat ringers, paint ball, the forth jump of the s10 (thinking it wont hold out for #5 after another hard landing), it has so much rust on it that you could throw a rabbit through it anyplace and he'd come out on the other side just fine. Managed to get another topper, so there will be topper rides as well- along with the other usual activities!
Since this is a exclusive event, by invitation only, look for your invite in your in-box or listen for the phone. Deputy Sheriffs will be in and out all evening with some grins and nods of approval.
Lots of grilled food, ice for drinks, chips, salads, yummies, but bring yer own Bud! Camping on the premises, no one allowed to leave without a designated SOBER driver. All remaining players in the AM, omelets served with coffee AFTER clean up....
Now that is the other side of me
