I have been reading the comments and responses for the last few days. I am attempting to develop the ability to "see" better, so my images will improve over time.

I live in the greater Sacramento, CA area, and am a member of several local photo clubs.

Here is an image that I hope to enter in a competition in Arizona for the Fall Meeting of the Arizona Camera Club Council. One of the themes is "Old Buildings"

Thank you. I had to comb through my images to find an "old" building. This was the best I could do. It is located in Thompson Arboretum State Park near Superior, AZ. My wife and I are "Snowbirds" and live in Sun City, AZ for a few winter months.

Love this shot! Am very interested in photographing buildings that have character. Nice tone and the image is crisp.

Love the shot I love looking and exploring old building and barns. Would love to see this one in Black and White or Sephia. Not sure if I would like, but would just like to see.

Thank You. I made an attempt to convert the image to monochrome and used Nik Software Silver Effex Pro. I am not sure if it works as well due to the bright sunlight in some parts of the image.

I would also like to capture images of old buildings and barns; however, as we speed by them, there is no room to park the vehicle or they are far enough away, so permission would have to be granted to get closer.

I like it much better that way to me it is much softer and more inviting. I am not a professional by no means. I just started taking pictures. I don't know a lot of the rules and probably never will. But I believe if you look at something and it gives a since of peace then that is God telling you then you have it just the way he wants it for you. So I like it this way. Just right marveloussssss!
