I'd like to sell my lightly used Olympus system if I can get a fair price and I'm not quite certain as to what constitutes a fair price. The camera, lenses and power grip are what appears to be in my estimation in pristine or like new condition.

What I offer is as follows:

Olympus OM-D E-M5 II

12-40 mm 2.8 Pro Lens

75-300 mm 4.6-6.7 II Lens

Vello Hood for the 75-300

Olympus Battery Grip

3 Batteries (Original Olympus + 2 Watson)

New and never used 3 filter sets for each of the above lenses

If anyone is interested and you have a price in mind, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Best wishes to all for a Happy, Healthy and Joyous Holiday Season and a Happy New Year.

LOl! You're not helping me here. To be honest I'm also not sure if this is the best time to sell with Cyber Monday being tomorrow. I forgot to mention that the sensor was professionally cleaned in July or August.

Truth be told, I was thinking in the vicinity of between 65-70% of the original MSRP as I paid NYC sales tax when I bought it and the buyer wont have that.

There is another + that I wont mention here but if you're interested, I can ell you on a phone call. (347-528-4880)

Hershel - Are you thinking of moving along to something else? If yes, what might that be?

Well, I'm thinking of either an upgrade within Olympus or getting a new computer and monitor and spending time learning post processing and working on the photos I've taken with this camera for the 18 months I've had it and get another camera at a later date. It would be a financial strain to swing both at this time.

I'm working on a 14 year old Gateway computer that's as slow as molasses in January and it would be impossible to load and perform post processing on this computer.

I am leaning heavily in favor of getting the computer at this point because it pauses to buffer virtually everything.

Why not go to B&H or Adorama or KEH and see what they will offer. I think you can get online quotes. Then go from there.

I think I will do better here offering it to members as the retailers have to make a profit.

I hope to have a price in mind by the end of the week. Crazy busy this time of year as you can well imagine plus weddings and other obligations almost every night of the week. I am open to entertaining an offer if you have a number in mind.

Thanks for your interest.

That's funny! You do realize Hershel works for B&H?

I do. THat's why I thought his whole drill was "funny". HE should have a better fix on prices than the rest of us put together. Actually, I think it is rather disengenuous.

I don't know Hershel but I tend to agree with you, seems like he would have an excellent idea of what a good fair price would be, I on the other hand need to do research to come up with an offer. In a weird twist it seems like Hershel would be someone I'd turn to for an estimate. It's no big deal, just odd I guess.

Why not sell it to your employer? or don't you think you'll get a fair price?

A good way to decide on a price is to see what they are selling for on ebay. Looks like your camera alone is going for about 515-650 on ebay . Brand new grays are going for 639.
The 12-40 lens about $585
The 75-300 lens about $300

Tommi,

Is that with the additional battery grip or without? I have consulted with a nearby well respected worldwide seller of cameras and electronics who shall remain nameless, lol and they told me that their selling price for what I had would be between $1900-$2000 and that's without the 2-3 piece filter sets, Vello lens hood and the 2 extra Watson batteries. So I have decided to use that as my baseline. In any event Dadu10 has first dibs as he was the first to express interest.
