Ouch! Very cruel. Consider that sometimes the problem is not in the production, but in the reception.

I see this as a perfect illustration of God's amazing creation. While "we" sexualize the breast, this image reminds us that no matter what, the purpose is to provide food for the infant. This image is also an illustration of all of the different attitudes, values and moral judgements that "we" assign to various body parts.
It's great!

Great response to a great and innovative photograph.

Sexualize the breast? You mean it has no natural sexuality? We just arbitrarily imputed sexuality to it, but could have chosen another body part at random, like a toe?

Actually, that is pretty correct. Most women do get sexual pleasure from breast sensations--including a feeding infant--but most women have very sexual sensations in many other locations that are every bit as intense as the breast. (I've been a sex therapist for many years and have seen a wide range of sexual responsiveness.) For you men, try gentle touching behind the knee or the inside of the thigh or behind the ear. (Each woman is different.) Don't give up on the breast, but get more innovative.

I love this. The reflections draw the eye away a bit, but provide their own story. I want to see more of your work. I would love to see more closeups of this startling level.

A trained therapist and you assume that I go to the breast and the breast alone? How did you determine that? I only claim that the breasts need not be sexualized; they are sexual already, and very much so.

The image presents the total function of the breast - that of feeding the infant as well as its sexual attraction. Given that's what you planned, I think you did a darn good job!

I get it - the baby can eat and start teething at the same time......

I wondered about the nursing...
- more drool around the edge?
- better grip without biting?

and even non-nursing, as in husband/boyfriend with braces gets stuck...

But as usual from SA, very thought-provoking images. Well done.

Do you know why women's breasts are like toy trains?

This is because they are meant for the children but it is the daddy's that end up playing with them.

Extremely creative image. The milk plus the nipple pin makes it an abstract type image. I love your creative juices.

I met a woman and we decided to photograph this later that day. This is what we decided to photograph.

So let me see your results. I challenge you to go to the mall, or wherever, strike up a conversation with a woman you do not know. Photograph her on the day you meet her. And post for us your image.

Show this 'starving' person how it should be done.

I struck up a conversation with a lady at the mall and later that day photographed her for his very reason. Beautiful to her, interesting and unique to me, lame to you.

So now I challenge you. Go to the mall, strike up a conversation with a woman you do not know. Photograph her that day, and show us a photograph that is as unique as this but isn't lame.
