Our local photo club has a challenge this month to shoot the playground equipment at a local park. Out of 108 photos taken I have it culled down to 8 and I think I could flip a coin and be very happy with the results but I thought I would give you hoggers a chance to help me out. Please pick 2 of the 8 that strike your fancy. Thanks.
Comments and/or critiques welcome, good and BAD. These were all taken after the first snowfall of the year and there are no kids involved, just still life with 3 exceptions.

#4...the rest didn't stand out for me.
Numbers one and four strike me as being best! All are good, though.

Just curious as to why #4? First 3 respondents all picked it.

Good thing I asked you to pick 2. Thanks for playing.

I like 1 and 8 because you are framing one thing with another in the scene.

Solid reasoning. Many thanks.
1 is my favorite. I'm undecided for a second choice.
#6 is a distant second place (for the perspective and repeating patterns) to the star, #4.
#4 - the swings in motion gives a somewhat eerie sense of not being quite alone, though there is no evidence of anyone else. Sort of just a memory of summer. Also, great visual contrasts between very solid red and the moving gray forms. The positions of the swings, as well as the slightly off-centered red frames, seem just perfect to me.
