Have an old pic you would like to copy, a picture under glass you can not take out, a picture too big for your scanner, or no scanner but you have a smart phone?? Go get "PhotoScan" Knockyoursocksoff. It takes a picture, than with your help auto takes 4 more and combines them. The result is a picture you save in your gallery with no glare, no distortion and ready to print. So easy to use you will be amazed.

Thanks Jew I will try it.

Oh No....bang goes copy write....Having pictures under glass was a good way of stopping 'Joe Bloggs' 'nicking it'.
Where I work, we feature local artists' work by reception: The number of times I see people taking pictures with their phones is unreal. I thought ceiling spotlights would deter them, but apparently not.
Seems like a good tool. Thanks.
Are you referring to "Googles" Photoscan or "Agisofts" Photoscan?

Sounds good. Thanks for the referral.

Sounds good - I use "TurboScan" which does the same thing with documents - takes three photos and merges them in to a sharp pdf file. I find it to be very useful. For example - last week after shooting some models I scanned the model releases with my iPhone, emailed them to myself, and have the pdf files saved in the same folders as their photos.

It sounds like a good idea but in reality it is pretty awful. It is difficult to actually make the scan and the resulting image quality is very poor and the resolution is terrible. My hand scanner is far superior, so is the scanner on my printer.

Thanks for the reminder. I downloaded that a few days ago but haven't tried it yet. From Google, right?
So I can take several photos of a 16x20 print and the camera produces an image I can again print to 16x20. That's amazing.

I like this idea. I checked out the Google Version. Will investigate others as well. Thanks.
