This is Opie- a Brittany that is full of energy. We named him after the little boy in Mayberry RFD TV series- all freckles and sweetness (but with more than a little of the devil inside). He was about 10 pounds when I brought him home 5 weeks ago and is about 18 pounds now. He is just turning 4 months old. This is the first puppy I have had in 14 years- forgot how much work and joy they bring. Now if he would just sleep through the night...

Awwww.... He's is adorable and I can see the energy and the love in those eyes!!! Good luck with your baby and I know all the love you give him, will come right back to you!! Nothing like the unconditional love of a pet!!

He looks ready to point the quail. My two springer spaniels are my buddies. They are waiting for me to get up and moving. Enjoy your new dog.

Yes AzPicLady I have shoes left- he is not too hard on shoes:) Socks are another matter.
Sterrill- He shows no inclination for pointing yet nor retrieving nor interest in water. Hmm...
Jayway55-I think he is cute - thank you. He should be about 35-40 pounds when he gets his full growth. And he won't shed much- all good!
jederick-he has already brought joy and a lot of work :) I'm waiting for the night he makes it longer than 5 hours without having to eliminate!

tradio- he is a nice dog but like most puppies he is a "bitey" boy. Have to keep a very close eye on him.
