I took a few photos at our church. The sun was shining on the stained glass window creating a nice effect. I must say the exposure was challenging. I can see also where a tilt shift lens might come in handy. The church was built in 1916.

Yes, a tilt-shift lens would come in handy, but there are programs that can in post-processing give you straight horizontals or/and verticals, including Lightroom. Usually works well.

Good job on challenging lighting. Different windows have different optimum angles, times of day, and different post-processing settings. There will be compromises and you have done well.

Thanks for the comments. I used photoshop to take out some lens distortion but maybe not enough. I'm more of a landscape guy.

Nice job on a very challenging subject. I love stained glass but have not been successful in getting an image I like. Certainly having the light come through the window is essential. I love how the surrounding area is blackened. Your church affords you lots of opportunities. I do miss these windows, not used much in the modern church architecture,it seems. The window in #2 is really striking.

Thank you for looking. I've found the perspective adjustment in photoshop since I posted these. It helps.
