I started a thread awhile back about a walk around lens. I think it was called "Super Cheap Lens". Ended up buying a (2nd gen?) Tamron 28-200 lens. Thought I'd post some pictures made with this lens. These are just snaps but will give you and idea how sharp the lens is.
Forgot to say. These are right out of the D-50. No PP done.
My only non-Canon lens is a Tamron 28-200 and it's a good all around lens that takes good shots.
It just surprised me the lens was that sharp. Used to have a Tamron 18-200 when I first got my camera years ago. I got rid of it because it was so soft. This one however, is a keeper. Thanks for the reply. Only spent $79.00 for it used. Just ordered a lens hood for it off Amazon. Should be all set for a "walk around lens".
