Interesting subjects and beautifully shot. I like them all but in particular the first two.

Good shots except for the last one. I would pitch that one. Its out of focus style clashes with the sharpness of the others for the large part. What bothers me is how warm some of the pictures are. Perhaps that is how the ambient lighting was. I would crop away some of the foreground in the first two shots. I do not like the blur on the right side of the first shot and how bright areas in one and two are blown out. The entrance shot is very good. Look at how nicely Dr. King's picture gives context and is off-center to increase the interest. Color balance is excellent. My only complaint is that the narrow window right in the center is slightly darker than the others. You can fix this easily in LR or PS.

Why did you use DxO and what did it do that LR or PS cannot do?

Thanks for posting the series. Being so close to the Center, you will have plenty of photographic opportunities. Too bad it is not up north so you could capture it in different seasons.

Thank you for your input. A lot of what I do is artistic interpretation, wild colors, sudo-lensbaby blur, and so on. Once learning DXO ViewPoint 3, adjustments are dead on and fast.

You are welcome. I looked at the DxO website and this plug-in seems to do a lot of LR does and pretty much in the same fashion. LR also has lens profiles that help. I am probably missing something about DxO. I find fixing these distortions pretty amazing. It was a real struggle with film photography and the results were never as good unless you were an architectural photographer with the right equipment and experience. Even still, you had nothing like Content Aware to fill in some of that cropping.

YouTube and Adobe TV have a lot of basic and advanced videos. I suspect Adobe has more features and control without the expense. I use the controls in LR. They are easy to use and give excellent results.

Darn, I love Photoshop, so many lessons to be learned. These two I was not aware. Thanks abc1234.

Here is another lesson. Most of us edit most of our pictures in LR and do not need to go to PS. Some of LR's tools are easier to find or use. Plus, you have keywords. Julieann Kost at Adobe TV is probably the best starting point to learn LR. I do admit that some of the plug-ins have slightly better interfaces but, all things considered, I get along very nicely on LR/PS alone.

Curious about the first image. The upper part of the facade on the far right is blurred. Intentional?

Thanks

Yes, I used a little blur from DXO ViewPoint 3 intentionally for effect.
