Help!

Ok photogs, I need some help. Take a look at the two images below. I'm not looking for critiques on the actual photos, just help in figuring out what the heck that haze is. Look at the solid, darker areas. My noise reduction is on, ISO is at 200, etc. I'm getting this on my E620 and not the E420. I've tried all three lenses on both cameras so I know it's just on the 620. Could I have a bad sensor?

Look at and download this one. Zoom in and you'll see exactly what I mean. I really don't want to have to send my baby to the shop for repair.

Underexposure creates noise at any ISO.

That third shot looks like a piece of string, sensor needs cleaning. I downloaded this one and it has serious noise in the color channels, which is also due to underexposure and then of course the "stuff" needs to be removed.

actually, it's a star. I did this on purpose. I wanted to try to get a solid black so I set my shutter to 5 seconds and just held it up to this star. I guess my cleaning mode and blower aren't getting the job done when cleaning huh? Although I'm incredibly mechanically inclined, I'm not so sure about cleaning this sensor. Is there a way to do it safely, without damaging the protective film?

Take a shot of the daytime sky without clouds (just blue). Your AF will go nuts so just kick it into manual focus and snap a shot. If there is dust on the sensor, you will see it as semi-transparent splotches.

I have a blower (like a turkey baster) that looks like a cartoon rocket. It's for blowing the dust out of the camera. I also keep a microfiber cloth (in a small plastic barrel with a clip), that I keep attached to the camera strap, for cleaning the lens.

If you want solid black, put your lens cap on and fire away, the file will be black and if you have a dead pixel it will show up.

nothing, so your sensor is clean, and no dead pixels, which brings us back to underexposure is going to create noise at any ISO, including the native one.
