Newbie again - and try this once again. Just testing how things work, but was wondering - are we supposed to start a new topic for every person who introduces themselves? Don't actively participate in many forums (exception is my computer's manufacturer since it seems only place you get real answers)!
Anyway - I'll try this again and be redunant and repetitive. Since I love photography, but lack the skills to take those extraordinary shots (or ordinary), this looks to be a good place. I love to shoot my 'babies' - my pets on our small farm, but I really love macro shots and if you have seen the Windows 7 theme "Waterdrops" by J.P.Peterson you have an idea of what I like and what techniques I want to learn. I can't shoot landscape for anything, but I can catch a bee in mid-flight and that was with an old Sony DFX-80. I live in NC, and should be able to take some nice fall pictures, but I get lose myself in that one flaming red leaf and forget the forest around me! Wish I could embed or attach a photo, but that's going to take more experimenting. Size is NOT everything when uploading/posting to a web page...

I think that's how it is supposed to be - a new topic for each intro.
Welcome. This is a fairly friendly place with quite a few knowledgable people.
You're in NC but your profile info says Florida?
Oops! wishful thinking I guess! it asked where you are FROM, so I am FROM Florida, but now reside in NC. Semantics - you know how us techies can be! LOL!
Welcome! There are a lot of knowledgeable people here, and most really seem to be offering good advice and comments. I hope you find it useful!

You may just want to follow along and not participate in a topic others have started. It's okay. Many people just like to read what's going on and stay in the background.
Oh, and Welcome to the hog.
