For quick EXIF on this site I use a plugin made for Firefox called EXIF viewer. This allows right clicking on a fully viewed image file and seeing the properties directly without downloading the image file to my computer and then opening another program to view the info. I'm sure there may be other plugins to accomodate the sleuth of browers out there with maybe the exception of MS products which seem to minimize customization for several generations.
I don't have photoshop, either..... but can drag the image to the Photos app on my Mac.... click on it, then click on info and see the ISO, shutter speed, f-stop, any ev adjustment, etc. pretty cool.
If the picture has download under it, I copy the URL and paste it to Jeffrey's Image Metadata Viewer in my browser. Requires no software. See: http://regex.info/exif.cgi

I use Google Chrome browser; it also has an exif reader plug-in. If the image has a "download" option, when I click on that some basic exif shows up at top of image when the download is displayed. Much quicker than copying to computer.
However, not all images display anything. It can be stripped by the photographer prior to upload; it can also be stripped automatically from some devices that are used (I-pad maybe?) for uploading.

Looks like the info is stripped from the thumbnails, but not the stored original (if originally contained).
I've read some posts referring to other poster's data used for their shots. Where do I go to see that info?
In addition to all the quick and easy methods there is another way that takes more effort but provides the best possible results. This isn't always needed but now and then is very useful.
Download Phil Harvey's EXIFTOOL software. Run it on any image to see everything there is to know about meta data for that image.

There is also an EXIF viewer plugin available for Firefox.

I use Chrome and there are EXIF extensions you can install. I suspect there are also plugins available for Internet Explorer and for Macs.
