Just received this printer and trying to set it up with an IP address on the network. IP is set and we can ping the printer but when we send a test print nothing happens. The job just sits in the print que until we remove it. Connect via USB and have no problem. We can even bring up the printer settings using the IP in a browser and everything is set properly. YES, the IP is proper for the network, is not duplicated but it just won't print. Anyone else run into this sort of dilemma? Or have a better way of adding this printer using an IP?

We have set up hundreds of other printers, Canon, HP, Epson etc. before without any issues but first time with this model.

When I got mine, the set-up was actually done twice - once for cabled, then for wireless. And they're listed as two different printers. So if you did that, you should have the printer listed twice, and one will be (1). You'll just need to remember which is which.

You can change the names to make this easier. My personal preference is to set a printer up ONLY one way so that these types of things don't happen. My Epson P800 is wired (network) as is my HP laser printer. My HP all-in-one is WiFi only, which makes it easy to print from a phone which is something that all family members do. Just a suggestion.
