I'm looking for used, clean, empty Canon CLI-42 and or CLI-72 OEM ink cartridges. Must be OEM, never refilled, complete with chips. I'm looking to refill them myself. Thanks in advance, Dave C. Reading, PA.

I have Pro 100 cartridges but I see no reason to go to the trouble and expense of sending them to him.

I'm willing to pay $2-3 each cart for a set plus actual shipping.

Please define "clean" and "empty".

Empty as in, you replaced it because the printer said the cartridge was empty. There will still be ink in the sponge. Must be Canon OEM CLI-42 or Pro-10 CLI-72 with chips intact.

How about to help a fellow hogger out. I'm on a very low budget because of 3 back surgeries with Fusions, plates & screws and 1 failed neck surgery same hardware, didn't work. 24x7x365 pain. But I'm willing to pay a fair rate & actual shipping. Thanks, Dave

Sorry to hear of your difficulties. Wish I could help you out, but I push a Epson. I hope humanity and compassion is common here, and some Canon Print Jockeys help you out. I am rather distressed at the cheapness and outright meanness so far shown in your few replies.

So sorry you had to blurt out your troubles in hopes of finding some compassion.

Good luck, hope you have better luck with the back soon. God bless.

I wouldn't mind sending you the empties but the Pro 100 isn't my go-to printer for every day work. I just use it to print photos. I will keep this post handy and when I have any I will contact you.

Spiney:
I have 3 or 4 empty CLI-42 cartridges from my Pro 100 that I would be happy to send to you. Please let me know where to send them. My gift to you!

Update, I received a complete set and a partial set from 2 fellow members at no charge, even after I offered to pay. This was a blessed surprise. I will pay it forward in kind however I am able.

Thank you for your kindness.

Ha...I've been throwing my empties away...had no idea they were that valuable. I used to turn them in to Staples, but they closed the one near me. I'll start saving them for you. I print fairly often so it shouldn't take too long to collect a set.

I sympathize with your back issues. I had surgery on mine over 10 years ago and even though the surgery fixed the protruding disc problem, I still have back pain 24/7.

I have no interest in re-filling them myself!

That's awesome Spiney. One of those guys sounded like he couldn't be bothered but I'd send you some if I had that printer. I just bought a new Pro-1000 and want some empties to experiment with too. I know a company that's willing to help me figure out how to refill and reset them. I'm glad some of our fellow members were generous.
