Go to your control panel, then system and security. Under system, there is a choice called allow remote access. Click on it and see if allow remote access is checked. If not, then check it. If so, it may be that the service that allows remote access has been turned off. If you search for msconfig in your windows search window in the lower left corner of your screen, it will bring up the system configuration app (msconfig). Go to the services tab, and click on the box at the bottom that says enable all, it will enable all your services. Reboot and try adobe again.
