Sadly WWII has been completely forgotten by most people under 30.

They really don't teach history anymore in school, the servicemen/women who participated in the war are either dead or don't want to talk about it. Many of the parents of these children are too busy looking for the next bottle of wine or joint to roll. That and the fact the children are not really interested enough to get their noses out of their cell phones.
