I want to calibrate my screen, but don't have a clue how to do it. Is there a certain program that will do this, or another way it needs to be done. I am now very techy savy, so looking for information to get it done correctly, but something that I will be able to do and/or follow. Thank you in advance for your help and suggestions.

My printing partner owns a ColorMunki Smile monitor calibration device for her PC associated with our Canon Pro-100 color printer. We are please with the color match of our prints to that monitor.
I just purchased a DataColor Spyder5Pro monitor calibration device (on sale) for my editing PC and my laptop:

I utilize the ColorMunki device to check my displays every 4 weeks but they do not change much, and my ColorMunki will also change the displays according to the light level in the room
I calibrate my monitor in a minimally illuminated room, so the ambient light does not effect the readings of my device, which could possibly influence the calibration of my monitor.
Editing can be accomplished in any room illumination.
