I was looking through some filters that I Bought in Japan in 1977 and have a A40 filter and a SL-C filter can any of you experts tell me what they are used for ?

I found one reference to the SL-C on eBay stating it's a UV/Haze filter. I also got a hit on the A40, cross referencing it to an 81D warming filter. Perhaps Toshiba used their own numbering system.
