The only way I can tell a Cooper's Hawk from a Sharp Shinned is by the tail. I can't see enough of the tail for a definitive reply and after all of that I agree with Mac.
My vote is Sharp Shinned Hawk kinda thin legs. How large was this hawk Crow sized or smaller? Sharp shinned hawks are noticeably smaller than crow sized Coopers hawks. It could be a late juvenile Coopers Hawk judging by the head size and shape?

Focus looks to be on the metal bracket on the post rather than on the hawk. A post-processing suggestion is attached:
Immature Red-shouldered Hawk, which is the most common hawk in Florida.
