I came across this article early in the day on E******n day. It was somewhere in my news feed and a worthwhile read. Not my words (of course) but I thought the author made a worthwhile point. I am certain that no one in the Hillary camp would believe it. I am equally certain that there are many here on UHH that could confirm the authors POV. Enjoy!

The article rings true with me, except I think it overplays the r****m angle in the equation. The thing that gets me is that now there are more people getting government benefits than are actually working. When it comes to pure welfare benefits, fully 1/3 of the country is receiving them, and the other 2/3 is paying for them. Is this e******y?? That may be part of the reason Trump was elected, but in all honesty, Trump never addressed these issues much. People just knew that Hillary would continue the welfare gravy train unabated.
