I have a friend with 40 acres on a river a couple hundred miles north of the border for sale. Anyone want his phone number this morning?

No move for me. You might offered it to the ones in Hollywood who said they would. Let's see how many keep their word. I hope they do.

What river. 40 acres ain't much. BC, Prairies. Ont, Quebec, Granite Planet.
Not a very good try though Tell your friend not to sell the farm yet

40 acres, not much! We'd put 640 houses on that. Be thankful for what you've got - space.

As a Canadian I strongly disagree with you statement. IMO we have too much fresh blood entering into Canada!

I always thought that if I ever had to leave this country Canada would be my first choice. Forty acres on a river would be like heaven.

Unfortunately the people that are leaving America because Trump won are not our best. Actually they are whiny little cry babies. For your sake I hope they go south.

Well shoot... you beat me to it. While scrolling down through the comments I was thinking the same thing as you and then I saw your post... The ones who threatened to leave are the very people we'd prefer to lose.

Thanks Rich. While I'm not a Trump fan or a Hillary fan either, I am certain once Trump is the "sitting President" he will find his abrasive nature will not work as effectively in politics as it did in business. Therefore, over time Americans in particular and the rest of the world will see a gradual change in Trump's nature and approach to the world around him.

What makes you think Canada wants them? I always thought Canadians were smarter than that.
