Nuisance messages cannot be overcome

Every day I get a message which completely stops me from using UHH. It comes from
6fojfqe.top
It is apparently from Walmart and it offers me a chance to win an Apple iPhone. I cannot move forward or backward. My only way of escape is to power off my phone or computer.
Avast finds no virus or malware.
Can you help?

It's linked to the pop up ads here. Try a pop up blocker, they work pretty good.

Which ad blocker would you recommend? Thanks.

Sounds like those pop ads we all get. There are a lot of good ad blockers available on the internet that are free of charge. One of those should solve your problem. I have used three or four different ones with very good results. Just Google "ad blockers".

I use Google Chrome as my browser. They offer ad blocking as an extension.

I use Blur in Firefox. Works well.
(Videos on Weather dot com will not load unless I turn it off though.)

Called a "Mouse Trap" because it basically makes your mouse useless in trying to get out of it. You might try Googling "Mouse Trap Blocker".
Until then, if you are using a Windows computer you can do Ctrl-Alt-Delete to bring up your Task Manager. You can then shut down your browser without having to shut down your computer.

Good advice and Alt-F4 is an easier solution then Ctrl-Alt-Delete.
