I took some photos in RAW today. I converted a couple to tif, so I could email them. But now they are missing from the shots I took. Can anyone help?
You don't mention what software you used to do the conversion so we can't give a specific answer.
Just guessing, the software put them "somewhere" based on a default setting or what you last set it to. Try running the software again and look for an indication of where it puts things.
If you know the file name and your computer OS has a search function, you should be able to find the file.

I downloaded them onto Zoom Browser EX. Under each RAW file it says to display original image. I click on that and it turns it into a tif file. I save it as a tif, but then it doesn't show up when i re-open the photos that i took todayl Unable to search for it. If you haven't guessed, I'm not very savvy on this, but I do have LR5 and Photoshop CS5.
Search W-10 found by pressing the start key and S. Next type .tif at the bottom and click on the photo icon in the search block. Photo is selected in the "More" drop down group. Just tested and it works.
Forget trying to find with LR... use basic find-it any were as described above.
