What did you do with all the bodies?

It has been quite a dry spell for me shooting, so I texted a model I had worked with a couple of time and said, "I need to shoot someone!" Next day I got a call from a very worried sounding guy wondering who I was. Apparently another model has fallen off the planet, and when I explained that I was a photographer, I could hear the relief in his voice.

By the way, another great image (for a beginner).

I have to say this is not one of your better poses. I don't like the extent of asymmetry in the breasts; I don't like the flatness of her left breast, which is probably the result of the stretch of her left side; I don't like the rectangularity (?) of her upper torso as created by the line of her left side running parallel to the line of the cloth as tucked in under her right arm. Of course, these are all criticisms based on the many other great images you have taken and shared with us. And as you said, this was early on in your venture into nude photography; you certainly have progressed well.

In this image I like the model's face, her hair and her expression. I like the physical setup/crop in that the bed frame/headboard balances the model. The angle of the shot gives the image great depth because of the distance to the wall on the right. The B&W works well in this image because of the many gentle shades of grey. So there is a lot that I like in the image.

Rob has posted many excellent images in this section. I simply felt that this particular image was not as good as his other offerings. And while I was only critical in my previous post, I think Rob has seen enough of my comments to understand my position. In my opinion, he is one of the best nude photographers on this site (and I don't mean he is naked when he takes the photos... but maybe he is. )
